Our philosophy

Ligne bb has dedicated itself to offering high-quality products which promote sleep comfort. We are therefore absolutely committed to providing mattresses and pillows made of first class foam materials. We only use elements which are made in production processes which are not only economically managed but also meet with our vision for taking ecological factors on board with regard to sustainability and responsibility. In this respect we mean that there is a conscious approach which advocates the use of renewable resources to significantly reduce the energy consumed and the amount of waste produced. Ideally this central tenet is borne in mind throughout the whole supply chain. This is one of the reasons why we only draw on product components which are manufactured in Germany.

This concept of sustainability has to do with, on the one hand, the environmental record of the finished product and, on the other hand, with its having no ill effects on the health of our customers. Finally, a sound environment without any exposure to pollutants induces healthy sleep. Consequently, our product certification which is in accordance with Öko Tex Standard 100 testing should be particularly reassuring for our customers.

However, environmentally friendliness alone is not enough to create a recuperative sleep. Therefore we have consciously set ourselves a high quality standard which we see as being the central to the ethos of our business. This starts with the sort of foam materials used which evince above average attributes in line with our parameters for determining quality. We also use cold foam materials and various forms of latex and refrain from using conventional foam materials. Ultimately, sustainability is our stated aim in this respect meaning that our customers can enjoy the pleasant characteristics of our products for a long time.

Of course, hygiene concerns also play a part in terms of the pleasure gained from our products. With this in mind all of our mattress and pillow covers have been designed to meet the highest possible hygienic requirements meaning that, for example, they can be washed at up to 60° C. It is the zip which goes right round the cover which facilitates a complete division of the upper side from the under side of the cover meaning that it can be easily handled for cleaning.

The result of our efforts is to communicate to our customers through our products a synthesis of sustainability, comfort, hygiene and practicability - a requirement which we strive for every day anew.
